INSIDE OUT


Inside the cage, he was trapped
Built of mirrors, it was like a dome
Where He was all alone.. 

The reflection flashed on his eyes
Which made him no less than a blind
He couldn't fight the darkness
Nor could he withstand the white..
He yelled
He cried
But never stopped trying
Although he could hear
but only his own words to his despair..
Being resolute, he was left With force
He tried all he could..
But with the red dripping,
It lead only to more wounds !! 

NONPLUSSED

The girl had a doleful look on her face

Who once dodged with her problems with effortless grace..

Coz this time her feelings had defeated her belief

And thus she could not recover from her grief..

She did not have the slightest idea of what to do

No sound was to be heard but the clock that struck two..

The sky seemed dull grey which once was so blue

And the soothing breeze which was replaced by the stormy winds that now blew..

Her beliefs rested in mind while the feelings were captured in heart

Fighting with each other but together they lay

Every second,every minute, every hour and every day..

It seemed no more than the game of chess, she once used to play

As she had to choose one and let the other go away..

Its either the black or the white , whom she had to betray

Coz going by the rules there cant be two winners in the display..

And in this confusion between the black and the white 

She was trapped in grey..

Feeling all alone like a dried plant that might soon decay !!

    BLACK AND WHITE

Under the moon swathed by the grey clouds..

And the stars looming in the sky..

The two souls embarked on a new journey..

Far across ,amid the dark fields..

Lit a prodigious pavillion ,which otherwise remained concealed!

A lady so comely ,dressed in a long white gown..

That touched the ground as she budged around..

She looked like a princess who has flown to earth from a fairytown..

 While the burly guy in tuxedo stepped forward

Being sanguine, he bent down..

His head raised high, and his knees touched the ground..

With a tender look, he caressed her hands..

She was jubilant and mesmerized..

And then she looked into his eyes..

He just needed no replies!

And together they danced under the moonlight

Together and forever, the Black and the White !!

ITS YOU..JUST YOU

The twinkling of multitude of stars

The enchanted garden full of aromatic flowers

I am awed by nothing but you!

The view of a splashing waterfall

The fluttering and chirping of birds

As if requesting to be heard

The gleam of sunshine 

And the sky so blue

I am crazy about nothing but you!

Its you..just you

The one whom I crave for

Who has always been my inspiration 

Whenever I lacked in talent you showed the determination

And poured into me the desired motivation!

The one from whom I expect

Who tolerates me with so much patience

who respects our relation

And understands without making allegations!

The one for whom i care a lot

Who is there in every phase

And helps me navigate life's maze

Who takes care of the smallest thing

Being the partner of my roller coaster swing!

The one with whom i wanna spend my whole life

The one who stands with me in every ups and downs

Bringing a smile on my face just like clowns!

The one whom i love so much!

YOU AND ME

Its not your problem ,Its mine..
You are the sweetest and I have all the mood swings..
You never question but I just cant let go off things..
The reason is me ,not you..
You give everything possible but I just cant stop caring for others..
You focus on the positives and I always cause troubles..

Its not your problem ,Its mine..
You have been always there for me..
The way a trunk supports a tree..
I don't believe in god,but still blessed to have you..
Just like how beautiful a leaf looks with dew..
I love the craziness we share..
No one cant match our level,I dare..
Our endless conversations and the secrets we tell..
Always protecting me like a pearl in shell..

This bond, of which many are unaware..
Bring in my eyes, a tear..
A tear of happiness..
A tear of hope..
A hope that you will be with me forever..
I don't want any disgraceful end..
Coz i just cant afford to lose another friend !

THE TURNING POINT

My eyes always searched for him in the crowd..

I wasn't looking for you..

I wasn't expecting you !

In the class, sitting at opposite ends..

You were more of a stranger, less than a friend !

But with the passing phase..

It was the unexpected that changed our lives..

A new friendship was born..

That tasted as sweet as a corn !

You always said the sweetest things..

And me, just like a flower that blooms in spring !

A bond was thus built, so emotional and deep..

Our conversations used to end, only bcoz of sleep !

I always chose to be your friend..

But falling in love was not in my control !

As all of your feelings were expressed..

You proposed and i replied "yes" !

For i didn't know, nor did you infer..

But this was all destiny, i guess !!

                         

      NIGHTFALL

Less like  brother, more like a friend

Both of us laughing crazily till the end..

Dancing in weddings or chatting late night

Sharing secrets of our life, making each other feel light..

When things don't go well, he makes me understand

Gives me the perfect advice and takes a firm stand..

Cracking jokes and teasing each other

just like every other sister-brother..

So smart, full of craziness

And thus i sometimes wonder

Why is he so quiet and calm in front of others..

Thats because we share the perfect bond

Of which he is so fond..

Though far in distance, yet so close by heart

He is among the gems of my life's chart

A person so damn ambitious

Life never served him food, so delicious..

But the heavy days were finally over

There was a turnover..

The things he deserved were then served

The sun shone bright

And his life changed overnight..

Then suddenly I woke up, with that gummy smile

Something popped up in my mind

Those moments were left far behind

It was just a dream that vanished like a beam..

Since heaven has become his home 

I sometimes feel so alone..

But there's nothing i can do, Just bury my face in the pillow and cry

To feel better and bid him good bye !
